The entire overpass bridge span SOUTHBOUND where the new Cal Trans posts have been installed is filled with broken glass. After Christmas, and with New Year's weekend ahead, motorists are tossing their bottles against the wall and bikepath before they enter the 101 freeway.  Does anyone know who has jurisdiction to sweep this bridge periodically?  A couple of weeks ago I went to the bridge alone with broom and swept it clean, but now it's even worse.  It appears that the bikepath will never be swept with machines and this will be an ongoing problem unless Cal Trans or some agency schedules sweeping.

This is not good news.  Earlier this week the roadway seemed fine (or, I should say "as usual").

Caltrans manages the Rincon.  I am leaving shortly for the weekend.  Next week I can look for contact information if you still need it.

Hi, CIBC  riders. I just reported this condition to the Caltrans,  LA's District 7 Office. It will be turned over to their regional District Maintenance Manager for the west side of Ventura.

I suggested before a crew goes out, staff might check out its condition. I reported that it appears some party goers might be throwing beer bottles against the off ramp wall.

It was suggested, we call the sheriff. Perhaps, a bit of oversight might cool the heels of the party goers.  ? Caltrans regional contact information is District 7 office in LA.
