October 21-28 tour down coast

    hi all, not sure how this works, but thought I would give it a try. I'm thinking of doing a bicycle tour down the coast, starting the 21 , either from SF or Monterey and coming to Ventura. Looking into camping, possibly hotels , if any one is interested.

    Let me know if you are interested. I have the week off so am a little flexible on exact dates..

     The coast highway is closed north of San Simeon. It’s possible to do the ride but  you have to take Naciemento Ferguson Road to Paso Robles.  It’s a long hilly road with no services, I believe.

    Yes, I was thinking of doing the detour, but now I have family stuff, so will have to cancel. I'll plan it again when the road opens up in June.
