Hello CIBike riders,

I'd like to share with you a club member's experience with dog attack on 24 December 2023, while jogging on Aliso canyon Road, west of Santa Paula.

Here is his message to me:

"Twice in the last week and a half the gray gate on the left before the last curve on Aliso has been open. Two dogs charged me aggressively while I was jogging. I stopped jogging but one dog was considering me for a meal as it nipped at my calves. I warned the owner that is serious especially for cyclists. Be careful on your bikes."

I called the Animal control Center (805) 388-4341 on the 24th and reported the incident on his behalf.
