On 8 February at around 11:00 am Deborah W. encountered dogs at Casitas Pass view point. Here's her description of the incident: (see included photo for dogs owner's location)

"I was riding over the pass and back... ( from Ojai) the first time at the view point no dogs... however when I came up from Carpinteria I saw the dogs ( 2 very large German shepherds out on the gravel in the pull out for viewing the lake... they where looking down the hill but then they saw me and came running at me barking.. I yelled NO and STOP a few times... a car had pulled in the view area just before this happens .. the dogs slowed Down and I went over to the other side of the car the dogs did not follow me... However on Tuesday the week before at the club ride ( casitas) Burt decided to ride up the road by that little building and the dogs came at him and one of them bit him... he got off his bike and slowly walked out to the view area.. the dogs followed him part way barking at him... he stopped at the fire station at the bottom of the pass and they treated the bite... I called Animal services and reported what happed to me and told them about the Prior attack on Burt."
