Come enjoy fresh ocean air and fun times.  May 31st, be ready at 9 AM, short meeting then we roll at 9:14.  36 mile loop thru SB Harbor, Montecito's East Mountain Drive, and back to beautiful Goleta Beach.  (Their are shorter/longer options to put your test of your meddle to the pedal).  Afterwards gather around the BBQ pit and enjoy a delicious meal.  If you think hamburgers are pedestrian, then try a gourmet hamburger cooked by a cycling club.  More meat (or more veggie for the non-carnivore crowd), we got better buns (for the burgers) plus a few sides- all for no inflation here price of $10.  Come with old friends and meet new ones.  The organizer/also chef/promotor and noted burger whisperer-rides in multiple clubs, so there will be some people from Velogen (Amgen-they are sponsoring the beach site so be nice to them;-)  Also, a few brave mountain folk from the rural Santa Ynez Valley Cycling Club will venture over the hill after they have finished splitting wood and doing chores on the farm.  Humor them.  If this sounds like fun, contact Darren at 805-453-0277 and tell him how many in your social circle can be expected.  You can be the first one to sign up...if you hurry
