We are discussing with Caltrans access for bicyclists to Highway 33 above Ojai. Caltrans is doing repairs to Hwy 33.  The road is one-lane with stoplight traffic control in one or more areas.

We need to know a) how many of these traffic control sites between Ojai and Rose Valley, b) location and approx. length of the one-lane sections, c) approx. grade of the sections and possible pull-off areas for cyclists if a car is coming in the other direction.

Background: Caltrans felt the traffic signals had to cycle too long to allow bikes to traverse the construction areas. So, they banned bikes on Highway 33.  We are trying to find a better solution to the problem.
